Feb. 20, 2017-- I am pleased to invite applications for the following faculty fellowship and exchange opportunities: the 2017-18 Sovern/Columbia Affiliated Fellowship at the American Academy in Rome, and the 2018-2019 - Alliance Visiting Professorships in Paris.
Dec. 8, 2016-- The Provost offers guidance for Columbia community members planning international travel.
Nov. 28, 2016-- The Libraries Committee has produced an outstanding report, which includes recommendations that address fostering student success, supporting research and faculty services, and developing strategies for the development, management, and preservation of the Libraries’ collections.
The fifth Request for Proposals for the President’s Global Innovation Fund is announced.

Oct. 6, 2016-- This is a third update on the University’s plans to implement the new U.S. Department of Labor rules governing minimum salary thresholds and overtime pay for part-time officers of research and of the Libraries.

The Provost announces several steps toward achieving a uniform set of benefits for all PhD students who are eligible for funding throughout Columbia.
