Learn More About Faculty Colleagues

We want to keep you connected with your colleagues and with offices that support your success. Below are some ways to stay connected.

Wise Words: Faculty Spotlight Series

Get to know your colleagues! Read some of your colleagues’ Wise Words and spend 5 minutes filling out your own profile for a chance to quip short about your work, yourself, and your academic aspirations. You might even meet a long-term collaborator.

Would you like us to add a profile on you? Submit your Wise Words here. (4-question only! We promise it's super short)

By Faculty, For Faculty: A Space to Breathe and Connect (ongoing series)

This series, co-sponsored by the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement, Center for Teaching and Learning, and Policy and Planning Committee, is designed to be a unique space for faculty to come together to share experiences, exchange ideas, and simply enjoy the company of colleagues in open, honest conversation.

Read more about the first session here and watch our calendar for future sessions coming in Fall 2026.

Coming Soon: Chair Peer Exchange Groups

Beginning Fall 2026, we will support department chairs who wish to meet regularly with peers and share experiences, compare approaches, and exchange practical strategies. We intend these gatherings to be chair-driven, candid, and solution-oriented spaces grounded in shared leadership realities and will assist by providing logistical support.
