Biography
Sonia Gugga is the Assistant Provost for Planning and Institutional Research (OPIR). In this role, she leads OPIR efforts toward data management and reporting.
Prior to joining the Office of the Provost, Sonia was a research scientist at the New York State Psychiatric Institute/Columbia University Department of Psychiatry, where she prepared psychometric and statistical analyses in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Sonia holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, and the MS in Applied Statistics and PhD in Measurement and Evaluation from Teachers College, Columbia University.
