Bio
Claudia completed her Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science - Neuroscience Concentration at UC Berkeley in 2018. Post graduation, she joined the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NYU for two years as a Research Associate/Lab Manager studying the impact of environment on fetal brain development via MRI studies. Claudia is now a PhD student in the Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Lab in the Psychology Department here at Columbia University. Her interests broadly include developmental cognitive neuroscience, particularly understanding the role of environmental factors and experience, particularly culture, on early brain development. She is highly involved in initiatives and research collaborations that seek to work with community members to further understand and work towards improving service provision in multiple settings, primarily disadvantaged, underserved communities.
