Bio
Adelina completed her undergraduate studies at Princeton University in the spring of 2022, majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Environmental Studies. She has been working with Dr. Benjamin Bostick at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University since the fall of 2022. Her research interests include the removal of hazardous chemicals from groundwater, particularly those that disproportionately affect marginalized populations. Adelina has a strong interest in the applications of environmental chemistry on environmental justice work. In her free time, she enjoys embroidery and up-cycling clothing, as well as exploring the city with her partner.
