Faculty mentors and mentees in the inaugural cohorts of the MAPS and LIFT programs joined Provost Angela V. Olinto and the Faculty Advancement team at Maison Française to celebrate the official launch of these new faculty mentorship initiatives. The event offered participants an early opportunity to build connections, learn about program goals and supports, and begin forming the relationships that will support faculty development and leadership across Columbia.

Parenting on the Tenure Track brought faculty together for a thoughtful conversation about balancing parenting and academic life. The event highlighted the importance of setting boundaries, protecting high-value hours, and creating sustainable approaches to work and family responsibilities.

Dan Bank, Partner at Mercury, expert in media training, led the session and guided faculty through best practices for responding to media inquires.
