Andys M. Brito

Andys Brito joined the Office of the Provost in January 2023 and currently serves as Director of Human Resources. In this role, she leads the day-to-day human resources functions for the Office of the Provost, providing strategic and operational support across the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, organizational development, and policy administration.

In addition to supporting the central administrative offices within the Office of the Provost, Andys serves as a trusted advisor to the Provost's affiliated reporting units, providing guidance on a broad range of human resources matters and ensuring alignment with University policies and best practices.

Prior to joining the Office of the Provost, Andys built more than a decade of human resources experience at Columbia University. She held roles within the University’s Irving Medical Center, Central Human Resources, and the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, most recently serving as Senior Human Resources and Faculty Affairs Generalist. Across these roles, she partnered with leaders, faculty, and staff in academic, administrative, clinical, and research environments, supporting a broad range of human resources initiatives and operations.

Brito received her bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a minor in Human Resources from Monroe College and her Master of Science in Human Capital Management from the Columbia University School of Professional Studies. Her academic and professional experiences have shaped her strategic and people-centered approach to human resources leadership.
