I think before the George Floyd murder, we used to have what they call "preaching to the choir." The folks coming to the diversity meetings (were) usually engaged. But after that, it certainly changed and everyone at the school took it more seriously. And the momentum hasn't stopped, and we're not gonna let it stop.
You know, I was so tired during that period because it has called for a push for so many things, and it was exhausting. But it was a good exhaustion, because we were talking about race in a real way and we were talking about the inequities and the disparities in a way that we hadn't talked about before.
