Wondering how to present your teaching on the academic job market? Register for opportunities to learn about and begin drafting teaching-related documents with feedback and guidance from CTL. Come for one day, or come for all! Each day of the Representing Your Teaching Summer Intensives (RYTSI) will focus on representing your teaching in different parts of your academic job application: teaching statements, teaching portfolios, syllabi, diversity statements, and presenting your teaching in interviews and on the market. Each day runs from 9:00a to 3:00p in 208 Butler Library. Breakfast and lunch provided. Facilitated by CTL Graduate Student Programs and Services.
On Monday, July 16, we will be working on the teaching statement, a common element of an academic job application that represents in writing your teaching approaches and experiences.
