TCUB Connects: Real-World Impacts of Research - November 9, 2023
Please join us on Thursday, November 9th for the next TCUB Connects event focusing on the theme of real-world impacts of research. The event will feature 'flash talks' highlighting faculty expertise in education, health, AI/digital innovation and STEM. TCUB Connects: Engaged Scholarship - March 30, 2023
This event featured faculty who are participating in engaged scholarship from each school, moderated by Vice Provost for the Fourth Purpose and Strategic Impact Sam Sia. The panel was followed by faculty-led roundtables on teaching and researching that engage community partners in the process of social, civic, and ethical impact.

TCUB Connects: Explore Collaboration Opportunities - November 3, 2022
This event introduced Teachers College faculty research to the faculty at Columbia University, an idea proposed by Victoria Hamilton, Associate Vice President, Office of Research Initiatives and Development (ORID). Joining forces with other partners across CU and Barnard College. This event highlighted Teachers College’s and Barnard College’s research expertise; showcased successful collaborations across the three campuses, and provided time for faculty to network during the poster session and reception. Led by Teachers College President, Thomas Bailey; Barnard College Provost, Linda Bell; Columbia University EVP for Research, Jeannette Wing; and Senior Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement, Dennis Mitchell, the event hoped to increase community-building and interdisciplinary research across campuses. For more information about the presenters, the event program, and the event itself, please click here.
