Templates for (1) faculty and officers of research, and (2) postdoctoral research fellows, postdoctoral research scientists/scholars, and associate research scientists/scholars have been revised to contain language contingent on the terminal degree that they have earned. The templates can be found in the “Offer and Reappointment Letter Templates” section of our website: https://provost.columbia.edu/content/academic-appointments
These templates should immediately replace the ones you have been using for faculty and officers of research. They should not be modified in any way without talking to one of us.
