Sandesh M. Tuladhar

Sandesh Tuladhar joined the Office of the Provost in 2016. As the Associate Provost for Online Education, Sandesh works closely with leaders of Columbia’s schools and departments, the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), Columbia University Information Technology, and various committees and groups to strengthen initiatives in online education and manage related programming, resources, technologies, and the policies that support and govern them. 

Sandesh also oversees the Science Of LEarning Research (SOLER) Initiative, a cross-disciplinary research hub dedicated to advancing and supporting the scholarship of teaching and learning at Columbia. 

Before joining the Office of the Provost, Sandesh worked at Columbia’s School of Professional Studies, where he led their Academic Technologies team, and at Brown University.  

He received his bachelor’s degree in economics and environmental studies from Adelphi University.
