Alice Herrera

Alice Herrera joined the Office of the Provost in March 2016 as Assistant Director of Tompkins Hall Nursery and Childcare Center. In her role, she supports students and their families with a range of programmatic and day-to-day school operations.

Before joining the Office of the Provost, Alice worked with children in play-based and Montessori schools in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Prior to her career in early childhood education, she started her administrative career on Columbia’s Medical Center Campus. Alice received her bachelor’s degree from Fordham University in Childhood Education and completed her master’s degree in Progressive Leadership at Bank Street College for Education.
