This project supported two paid research assistantships for students from racial groups that are underrepresented in the field of psychology. Research projects were held in collaboration with the Columbia Social and Moral Cognition Lab, where students had the opportunity to become involved in multiple aspects of the research process (e.g., recruiting participants; collecting and coding data; participating in lab meetings). Funding for this project helped students obtain research experience and assisted with diversifying the field of psychology.

This project was funded through the Addressing Racism: A Call to Action for Higher Education initiative of the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement.
